Hey there and happy Wednesday!! Today is a busy one for me with family visits, shopping trips, work and a Samaritans shift all thrown in together.
This is one of the projects I completed during half term and I was really pleased with the result. Very simple and it made a bit of a difference to the decor of my home (which is always good right?)
Here goes - now I started with two sets of Argos Value lamps - here's what you'll need for this project:

Lamps, lace (or other decorative fabric, beads, jewels), scissors, fabric glue.

1. Measure out your fabric against the lamp's shape. Whilst doing this I tried with some fairly stiff ribbon I had at home - this doesn't work well people as it won't lie flat against the ever decreasing surface of the lamps. my advice - try out your fabric and see how it lays before cutting/applying glue!

2. Cut it to length.

3. Add the fabric glue carefully. It will get all over your fingers/desk etc. You can clean it up later though - don't let it worry you!

4. Allow to dry for at least a couple of hours. I also added some sparkly flowers I had gotten from a craft shop. They were meant to be used on cards. I added some fabric glue and stuck them on - hey presto!!

5. TA DA!! Newly revamped lamps for hardly any money!!
Have a good Wednesday people!!
