Hey there lovely people. I thought I'd just hop onto my little blog to tell you all about the lovely, interesting and happy evening I have had. And it's all courtesy of the lovely Natalie from Free Spirit Designs.
Not only is she a UK based blogger just like me (this is a rare enough thing to tbh) but she's also awesome. I have spent literally the whole evening reading some of her blog posts and implementing some of her wonderful tips and tricks.
Here's where I started. Look at this lovely cushion - all handmade:

From this post I went to here and read all about an inspiring story of Etsy success. I checked out the associated Etsy store(s) here, here and here and was so inspired I set about re-branding and rejigging my own Etsy Store:

A new banner and sections in Etsy, as well as a new shop name!! Now you can shop A Cat-Like Curiosity too!

And I couldn't leave out my Storenvy store. Again with the new, uniformally branded name and a new banner. Here I also changed the background to match with the new banner colours better.
This re-branding is something I have been considering for a while, and finally decided to take the plunge - inspired to change by what I had been reading. I think it makes for a more cohesive look and brand. One thing that I haven't acted on but which has me wondering is the possibility of having different stores for different types of goods. I am not certain I will choose that route but it is something to think on all the same.
And my evening of inspiration didn't stop there! I read this interesting post about pricing handmade goods. Much food for thought there. Then this post about setting up your own crafting workshops which seems very interesting indeed.
The final post I read was this one - all about Pinterest. My Pinterest boards were looking a little forlorn and bedraggled tbh. Not any more!! I followed Natalie's tips and here's the result:

Check me out with my themed boards!! Each board cover chosen with care. You can check out my real Pinterest Page here.
Such a happy and productive evening. Natalie - I can't thank you enough!!
ps. Don't forget to come back tomorrow to link up all things inspirational!
