My Garden: Before and After Pics

Murphy looks about as tired as I felt yesterday!! It's hard work being a cat you know!

Hey there people and happy Sunday to you! I hope you are having a lovely weekend, wherever in the world you may be.

I am having such a productive one! As I mentioned yesterday I have updated lots of things on my Etsy store, including my About page. I also spent some time on Storenvy. I was able to update it so easily and quickly with the help of this little app. It literally transfers all of your listings from Etsy to Storenvy, photos et al with just a couple of clicks. Brilliant eh?

Another productive area this weekend is the gardening. Both front and back are now under control and no longer growing completely wild! Here are some pictures so you can marvel at how hard we worked!!

Before we got started the garden was overgrown and wild....

... and this was supposed to be the flowerbed!

It took some clearing!

After two of those brown bins full of garden waste plus extra bags.....

... plus some new flowers (including 5kg of daffodil bulbs in readiness for Spring)...

Everything cut back it was time to plant new things!

The flowerbed complete with dahlias, lobelias, lilies and daffodil bulbs!

Various pots with various bulbs. Come Spring/Summer 2013 they will be awesome!

By the time I had planted everything, including the 5kg of daffodil bulbs it was 7:30pm (hence the slightly darker photos). I was exhausted but happy with the end results.

I also can't wait to see how the garden will develop over time. It can only get better as the flowers take root.

What have you been up to this weekend? I'd love to know!

Have a great Sunday people!

That looks like a lot of work, but you made it look so awesome! I bet it feels good to look out your window and see your accomplishment :)
My parents arrive today for a visit, so I'll be spending lots of time with them over the next few days!
