nice job ! i use to work for a mortgage company .... and at least in the states it is ridiculous how much people end up paying for things with the interest rates so high ! the faster the better for sure ! it just so sickening to realize that something that cost 20 ends up costing 35 by the time its paid off. puke. you can do it lady !
Thanks for the encouragement Sammy - I am certainly trying!!
Sarah
I really need to do this, but for some reason it scares me so much! Are you doing the spending fast?
I am doing the spending diet really. Just putting everything I can towards my debts and having a little left over to spend on little things.
It is scary but I have paid off nearly £6,000 so far (over three years) and I am about to clear off my final credit card this summer! It is possible and can be done - you just need to take the first step.
I reckon I have another 4 years of scrimping and saving ahead of me as things stand - and who knows - I may earn extra and get it over sooner!!
Good luck with your journey :)
Sarah
Good on you Sarah. Will be good to have no credit card debt, then you can keep working on the others.
